Molly and Makenzie – Red Wing family photographer
Molly and Makenzie are absolutely adorable sisters. I had so much fun playing with them. They were pretty wiggly of course and gave me a run for my money, but it was totally worth it. There was a lot of playing dress up and dancing which always makes things a lot more fun. They had so many beautiful little dresses and really fun toys, it made the entire experience fun for all of us. It really is true that if the children are comfortable, it makes for better pictures.
I tried a few different things in this session and I really like how everything came out. I hope you do too!
Frank Family – Hugo Family Photographer
I was so thrilled to work with the gorgeous Frank family. They were so kind and welcoming, it was a joy to be in their home.
The children were simply charming and the youngest reminded me so much of mine it was hard to not ruffle his hair at every opportunity! It was easy to work with such a good looking group and mom did a fantastic job of selecting outfits that coordinated without being too matchy. If you’re looking for tips on how to dress your family, take a look at this group, it’s pretty perfect.
Thank you so much for having me and I can’t wait to work with you again!
Brothers P – Eagan family photography
I’ve been quite fortunate to be able to be a part of this family’s life for many years now. I’ve photographed their first pregnancy and their first son. Young Baz was a preemie and the month he was in the NICU was a very hard time for them.
The P family was excited to wear they would be welcoming another son into their family this past year. Unfortunately, it was a difficult pregnancy and ended with an even longer NICU stay with their micro-preemie.
Everyone is home now and doing well so I was finally able to come meet young Sam.
They’re such a wonderful family and I am amazed by all the difficult things they’ve had to manage with the health of their children. I am humbled by their courage.
Baz: 19 months
Sam: 8 months
Logan – Eagan Newborn Photographer
I absolutely love photographing babies. It’s not only because it reminds me of when my kids were babies – it’s just because I love babies! Being able to be a part of something as important as the birth of a new baby is a really moving experience for me.
And the chance to cuddle a new baby is always fun!
I photographed little Logan at his home in Eagan with his wonderful parents. They were all just a delight to be with. Logan is so cute and so sweet! I gave him a few extra cuddles even though being around me seemed to relax his bowels… It’s ok though! It happens. I was just having too much fun taking pictures of his sweet little face!
I’m so glad I got to meet Logan and his family. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Logan is a very well loved little guy. Congratulations!
Baby V – Minneapolis Newborn Photographer
I was so thrilled to photograph baby V when she was just six days old. I love working with newborns, they’re just so sweet and such a delight to be around. Little V was super cooperative and her parents are absolutely smitten with her. I could see why, she’s such a sweet little peanut!
I managed to only take Miss V’s pictures and not also take her home with me. Here are a few pictures from her session!
Zoe and Ling – Shoreview pet photography
As everyone knows, pets are part of the family too! One of the most exciting times is adding a new member of the family. Or two…
After wanting a Bengal cat for a very long time, this gentleman finally found some Bengal kittens available for rescue! While you’re at it, you really may as well get two I suppose!
These sisters are Zoe and Ling.
I was very lucky in that they were a bit sleepy when I arrived so they were a bit easier to photograph! Not quite as much running and climbing and dashing and chaos as is normal for a Bengal kitten. Here they are!
The R family – St. Paul portraits
I love working with all kinds of families. This was such a refreshing reminder of the fact that families come in all different shapes and sizes.
Thank you for having me in your lovely home!
Sebastian – 6 months
Little Sebastian is now 6 months old. He’s changed so much since he was born!
His smile is so sweet and loving. He’s just a charmer. I love being able to go back and follow up with clients and see how they change. I’m so very thrilled to be able to follow him from his mom’s maternity pictures and beyond!
I can’t wait to see him again!
Gretta and Hans – Engagement in Shoreview
It’s winter in Minnesota! That doesn’t slow us down very much though. These two weren’t too sure about pictures in general and were apprehensive about going outside too. Once we were all comfortable though, it was great! They were so very sweet and so very in love. It was really wonderful to be around. Oh, and also deeply in love with their dog Gigi!
They were very classic and old school kind of people so I made a lot of the images into black and whites. They were also kind of artsy and had a lot of interesting bird feeders so I used some of that. One of our favorite images is the one where you can’t even see their faces!
He had also joked with me for some time about Photoshopping in some monkeys into their pictures to spice them up. Well, I certainly couldn’t let that one go…
Sebastian – 1 month old infant portraits
Not long after our maternity portrait session, little Sebastian decided he was in a big hurry to be born. It was a scary time while he was in the NICU and his parents were thrilled once they were able to bring him home. He’s clearly already stolen their hearts and everyone is much happier now that they’re all together.
