I think everyone has a hard time writing this. The dreaded bio! Well, I know I sure do. After all the years as a working artist, one would think I would be used to it by now but I certainly am not!

Creating beautiful images has always been a passion of mine. I have explored many different mediums and methods of creating and have loved every one. I think I took every single class available at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts as a kid.

I went on to study art at the Arts High School (Perpich Center for Art Education), then to Maryland Institute College of Art and finished at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul. It was quite a journey and I think I learned as much from the path of it as I did from my classes.

Through my love of photography I’ve been able to pursue and explore that passion while being able to share in the joy of other people’s lives.  Capturing that moment is special and unique every time.  Whether it is a new baby, a happy family or the union of two people – every moment is important.  I feel especially lucky to be able to share in these moments of people’s lives.

I believe that everything can be beautiful, if captured from the right angle.
